Evangeline Sol
Some people arrive at storytelling through imagination. I arrived through life. The name Evangeline Sol is the pen name I write under, but the heart behind the stories belongs to a woman who has spent a lifetime observing the world—watching people, noticing patterns, asking questions, and wondering what lives beneath the surface of what we call “normal.” For as long as I can remember, I’ve been someone who looks deeper.
My Healing Journey
I notice the quiet tensions in a room. The unspoken emotions between people. The hidden longing behind the masks we wear to survive our everyday lives. Those observations became the lens through which I began to understand the world—and eventually, the stories I felt compelled to tell. But my path to becoming an author wasn’t a straight one. Like many women, I spent years building a life filled with responsibility, family, work, and personal growth.
Along the way I experienced the kinds of moments that shape a person: love, loss, uncertainty, awakening, healing, and the constant question of where we truly belong. I became a lifelong student of human behavior, personal transformation, spirituality, and the deeper currents that shape our lives. And through it all, I discovered something important. When I tried to explain what I had learned directly, people listened. But when I shared those same truths through story, something different happened. Light bulbs went off. People recognized themselves in the characters. They saw their struggles reflected back to them. They understood things they hadn’t been able to put into words. Storytelling became the bridge.
Why I Write
The stories I write blend mystery, elegance, magic, and human truth. Inspired by the intrigue of high society and the darker, hidden forces that move quietly beneath the surface of the world, my work explores the narratives of our inner lives through the following themes:
